Research areas

My research aims to increase understanding of the different life courses experienced by the Pakistani community and their descendants in the United Kingdom and Norway. Using event history models and logistic regression the research will focus on the differing experiences relating to health, family and employment. Comparisons will be made between first generation immigrants, their children and, ancestral natives, alongside cross national comparisons between two destination countires with different migration histories and welfare states.
