Getting to St Andrews 

St Andrews is located on the picturesque east coast of Scotland and has excellent transport links from the major Scottish cities and international airports.

Conference venues 

The extensive range of conference venues is located throughout St Andrews and all are within walking distance of the historic town centre. Find out more about the available conference venues in St Andrews. 

Car parking 

There are several  public car parks in St Andrews and limited on-street parking within walking distance of all venues. Limited car parking is available at the Gateway for delegates attending events. 

Both David Russell Apartments and Agnes Blackadder Hall offer free car parking for guests. Parking permits are available from reception and should be displayed for the duration of your stay. 

Food and drink 

The University achieved Fairtrade university status in April 2006 and fair trade tea and coffee are served at all conferences. 

The Accommodation, Conferences and Events team are happy to cater for most special diets. If you have special dietary requirements, please notify your conference organiser in advance. 

Accessibility 

While most venues are easily accessible, there are a small number of historic venues that may not be suitable for individuals with restricted mobility. Please contact your conference organiser for information on the specific venue your conference will be using. 

Emergency procedures 

All guests must make themselves aware of the fire procedure notices, which are located throughout the venues. These notices contain information on the actions to take in the event of discovering a fire or hearing the fire alarm, and detail the designated emergency assembly areas. Guests will be notified of any scheduled fire alarm tests.
