Conference rates

There is a range of flexible and fully inclusive conference packages to choose from.

Both premium and standard rates are excellent value for money. The Accommodation, Conferences and Events team are happy to create tailored packages that meet your specific conference needs.

The team is committed to the provision of quality facilities, excellent value and superior customer service. To ensure your conference runs smoothly, your personal assigned conference manager will assist you throughout. The experienced conference team would be delighted to discuss your full requirements and tailor a package for you.

Day conference and meeting packages 2024

Superior venues

Medical Science Building, Lower and Upper College Hall, and The Gateway

  • £40 per day delegate
  • £32 per half-day delegate. This rate includes lunch.

Standard venue

  • £33 per day delegate
  • £27 per half-day delegate. This rate includes lunch.

The above rates are subject to availability and exclude VAT.

Rates include:

  • main meeting room hire. Additional syndicate rooms are available on request and subject to availability.
  • a dedicated event manager
  • two servings of coffee, tea and biscuits
  • AV equipment provided in the main meeting room, including an LED projector and screen
  • an on-site AV technician before the event to assist with set-up requirements
  • welcome and directional signage on request
  • a buffet lunch, including coffee, tea, fruit juice and mineral water.

Day conferences are available all year round.

Minimum numbers of 20 delegates and above apply, with the exception of Lower and Upper College Hall, where the minimum is 75 delegates.

For ideas on private wine receptions, gala dinners and any other services you may need, our dedicated event manager will be happy to help you.

Residential conference packages 2024

At the University of St Andrews, we offer a wide range of accommodation options that provide the perfect base for exploring the historic town of St Andrews, its stunning white beaches and world-famous golf courses.

Superior venues

Agnes Blackadder Hall and David Russell Apartments

Agnes Blackadder Hall is available from 22 May to 3 September 2024 inclusive. David Russell Apartments are available from 25 May to 31 August 2024 inclusive. 

Superior bedrooms at Agnes Blackadder Hall and David Russell Apartments have one double bed (four feet and six inches wide), an en suite shower room, tea and coffee-making facilities and complimentary wifi. A TV is available only in selected rooms at David Russell Apartments.

Twin/family rooms are available at Agnes Blackadder Hall and have two double beds. Minimum numbers apply for meals.

Standard venues

McIntosh Hall and University Hall

McIntosh Hall is available from 25 May to 1 September 2024 inclusive. University Hall is available from 25 May to 30 August 2024 inclusive.

All standard bedrooms at McIntosh Hall and University Hall have single beds, wash-hand basins, shared bathroom facilities, tea and coffee-making facilities and complimentary wifi.

A limited number of twin rooms with two single beds are available. Minimum numbers apply for meals.
